Sunrise
There is a pocket of Greater Fort Lauderdale that epic concerts, NHL hockey, designer shopping and outdoor fun call home. Discover Sunrise, Florida, a diverse place to live, stay and play on the road to the Florida Everglades.
Pro Sports and Hot Concerts
Amerant Bank Arena, formerly named FLA Live Arena, in Sunrise seats about 20,000 fans of sports, music and more. It offers 70 Suites and 2,623 Club Seats and is ADA accessible.
This world-renowned arena is the home of the Florida Panthers, hosting sensational hockey home games from October to April. Sit closer to the ice or watch the game in style in Club and Suite seating.
Amerant Bank Arena consistently hosts world-famous performers across all genres and interests, from rock to pop to Disney on Ice.
Concessions go above and beyond at Amerant Bank Arena, including three new food experiences: Taco ‘Bout It, Smells Like Brunch and Chick It Out. You can almost taste the deliciousness of the Fried Chicken and Waffles, Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings, Mimosas, Bloody Marys and more.
Unique Nightlife in Sunrise
If you prefer your venues a little smaller than an arena, visit All That Jazz Cafe. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, this intimate venue serves up live music and a dinner menu featuring authentic Louisiana, Italian and American dishes. This family-owned business puts a personal touch on every aspect, from the atmosphere to the curated music line-up to their indulgent Homemade Bread Pudding with sweet whiskey sauce, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
For that authentic British Pub experience — but in the tropics – check out Kingshead Pub and Restaurant. Assorted ales, IPAs and stouts are available, as well as favorite dishes from across the pond, including Steak and Ale Pie, Chicken Curry and Guinness Gravy Poutine. Relax with a Black and Tan, bangers and mash, and a game of darts.
Great Places to Shop
Practically across the street from Amerant Bank Arena is the largest single story outlet mall in the United States, Sawgrass Mills. Named after the sawgrass of the nearby Florida Everglades, the mall has more than two million square feet of retail space encompassing its stores, restaurants and entertainment areas. Clearly, Sawgrass Mills is an unparalleled lifestyle destination. Especially if you like scoring designer treasures at a discount. Adidas, Burberry, Coach, Gucci, Lacoste, Tag Heuer, LEGO® and Vans are just a few of the crush-worthy brands you can explore.
Enjoy more than a dozen diverse dining options that range from casual to experiential to gourmet. Dine amid a realistic tropical setting at Rainforest Cafe. Texas de Brazil is an authentic churrascaria serving ample portions carved at your table. And Seasons 52 is celebrated for its upscale, seasonally inspired menu.
