A Sandy Sneak Peak

Start exploring even before you set foot on our sands with the enchanting live beach webcams.  Pick out the spot where you’re going to set up your beach umbrella and towel by clicking on one of the cameras overlooking Hollywood Beach, multiple views along Fort Lauderdale Beach, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, or Pompano Beach. For an even deeper dive, head underwater with the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier’s underwater camera where you’ll be mesmerized with the fish and sea life swimming by. If you want to check out our river of grass, the Everglades Holiday Park camera lets you watch the airboats and maybe even a gator or two.

Sunny Seashores

In Greater Fort Lauderdale, FL there isn’t a specific beach season. Here, our consistent warm weather allows us to enjoy the beach year-round. Each of our beaches is distinct so you can settle into the quiet atmosphere of Dania Beach and Hallandale Beach or amp up the fun on Fort Lauderdale Beach. For diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, Pompano Beach and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea have bewitching shipwrecks and beautiful reefs to discover while Deerfield Beach and Hollywood beach have enticing restaurants just steps away from the sand when you’re ready for a snack.

Diverse Diversions

We have 31 cities that span the region from eastside beach towns to westside neighborhoods bordering the Everglades, and each has its own personality for you to discover. You’ll find luxury Fort Lauderdale beach hotels, international cuisines, performing arts centers and museums, sports stadiums, natural wonders, entertaining local attractions, and so much more.

Get on the Water

Nicknamed the Venice of America, Greater Fort Lauderdale has a plethora of waterways for you to cruise. Hop on a jet ski for a thrilling ride, become one with nature on a serene paddleboarding tour, charter a luxury yacht or glide down the New River on a romantic gondola. The possibilities are endless.

Force of Nature

One of our most unique natural wonders is our sea turtle nesting season. From March through October, Greater Fort Lauderdale welcomes these creatures and their babies to our sands. As you’re strolling along area beaches, look out for the sea turtle nests, which are marked by the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program, and make sure not to disturb them. They need all the help they can get because even the best estimates predict only one in 1,000 hatchlings will survive to become an adult.

Cruising the Coastline

Hopping into your car, you can check out nine of our beach communities that are located along the A1A Scenic Highway. The 32 miles of now-paved road have been a part of this region’s history for centuries from Native American routes to pioneer trails. Today, you can stroll down one of four piers, explore nature including two state parks, indulge in a variety of restaurants, and of course, don’t forget the beach that’s just steps away.

Luxury Tour

If you’re looking to electrify your vacation and really treat yourself, professional racecar driver and television racing commentator Townsend Bell has designed four luxury tours for you. With so many things to do in Fort Lauderdale, the stellar lineups include an unforgettable fishing trip, a race around the track ending with a visit to the first-ever guitar hotel, a delicious dock and dine experience, and a helicopter ride to the hockey game.
