Prepare for an unforgettable weekend as the AirDotShow Tour soars into Fort Lauderdale on May 3-4, 2025. This marquee event promises exhilarating aerial performances, VIP experiences and a chance for everyone under the sun to explore the vibrant attractions of Greater Fort Lauderdale.

Who is flying?

Showcasing some of the most dynamic and skilled aviation teams in the world, this year’s lineup includes:

U.S. Navy Blue Angels: Witness the precision and skill of America’s elite naval aviators as they perform breathtaking maneuvers in their F/A-18 Super Hornets. Renowned for their high-energy demonstrations, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels are known for showcasing tight formations and solo acts that leave audiences in awe.

F-22 Raptor Demo Team: Experience the raw power and agility of the U.S. Air Force's premier fighter jet in solo demonstrations that defy gravity (and expectations).

SOCOM Para-Commandos: Be amazed by the daring parachute team showcasing coordinated jumps and complex formations. Comprising volunteers from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and government civilians, the Para-Commandos represent the elite Special Operations Forces of the United States Armed Services.

These performances, among others, will keep spectators on the edge of their seats all weekend long!

Where can I watch?

Fort Lauderdale Air Show Beach Aerial

Set against the stunning backdrop of Fort Lauderdale Beach, there are several primary viewing areas:

  • Drop Zone Beach: For a memorable (and convenient) day, this area offers restrooms, food and beverage stands, professional narration, and music for just $35.
  • Sand Boxes™: Reserve a private 10' x 12' viewing area on the beach, complete with dedicated restrooms and exclusive food and beverage stands. A reserved parking pass in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is included. Pricing is as low as $67.25 per person.
  • Flight Line Club: Enjoy a VIP beach experience with dining tents, a catered lunch, and an all-day beverage bar. New this year, private boxes for up to four people are available, featuring umbrellas, chairs, and VIP parking on A1A. Pricing is as low as $189 per person.
  • VIP Penthouse: For an elevated experience, the Pelican Grand VIP Penthouse offers panoramic views from the rooftop balcony, upscale catered cuisine, an open bar, and preferred parking for $549 per person.
  • From a Boat: Enjoy the show from the water by positioning your boat along the eastern perimeter of the U.S. Coast Guard Safety Zone, which extends four miles parallel to the flight path, approximately one mile east of the air show centerline.

Where can I park?

Attending the Fort Lauderdale Air Show is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and understanding your parking options will ensure a smooth and hassle-free day:

  • Reserved Parking: Purchasing a Sand Box™ package includes a reserved parking pass in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, ensuring easy access to the event.

  • VIP Parking: The Flight Line Club offers VIP parking directly on A1A, providing convenient access.
  • General Parking: Public parking is available along A1A and nearby streets for other viewing areas. Arriving early to secure a spot is advisable, as spaces can fill up quickly.
  • Handicap Parking: Since on-street parking on A1A is very limited, the closest large-capacity parking is at the Galleria on Sunrise Boulevard, approximately half a mile from the beach. However, the Sunrise Boulevard intersection on A1A remains open during the show, allowing disabled spectators to be dropped off near the intersection before proceeding to park. Additionally, the Flight Line Club VIP allows handicap-accessible parking nearby, while the VIP Penthouse offers valet parking at the Pelican Grand Resort.

Alternative Transportation: Consider using ride-share services or public transportation to minimize stress and contribute to environmental sustainability. This approach can alleviate parking headaches and allow you to focus on enjoying the show.
