4th of July Spectacular
July 4, 2025

Celebrate Independence Day at Fort Lauderdale’s free Fourth of July Spectacular. The event takes place at Las Olas Oceanside Park (The LOOP) and along Fort Lauderdale Beach, featuring live music, a kids zone, beach games, contests, family activities and a fireworks display.

Dine Out Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS)
October 29 - November 2, 2025

FLIBSThis year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show—the world’s largest in-water boat show—returns with exhibits at seven locations throughout the city. FLIBS will feature cutting-edge marine technology, educational seminars, a superyacht village, hands-on attractions and opportunities to explore more than 1,300 vessels.

Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
December 13, 2025

Winterfest Boat ParadeThe Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade is the “Best Show on H2O”— and the ultimate kickoff to South Florida’s holiday season. From mega-yachts to paddle boats, this one-of-a-kind parade lights up a 12-mile stretch of Fort Lauderdale’s waterways, drawing over a million spectators.

CHAOS Holiday Boat Parade

Every December, the CHAOS Holiday Boat Parade brings the spirit of the season to life along the Intracoastal Waterway. Dozens of boats, decorated with lights and festive displays, cruise through Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point and Deerfield Beach in a celebration for all ages. This South Florida tradition is free to attend, with opportunities to participate, volunteer or sponsor.

Visit Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival
January 19-25 

Visit Lauderdale Food and Wine FestivalThe Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival returns for its seventh year from Jan. 19-25, 2026, offering a weeklong celebration of culinary innovation. The festival features live cooking demonstrations at The Grand Tasting, curated cooking classes, seminars, and signature events, highlighting South Florida’s evolving food scene. This year’s lineup includes celebrity chefs, each bringing their unique style to the festival. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, one of the region’s leading pediatric hospitals.

Avenue of the Arts Festival (AOTA Fest)

AOTA FestHeld annually on the last weekend of January, AOTA Fest brings together local and international artists to transform the Sistrunk neighborhood into an open-air gallery. Attendees can enjoy live mural painting, interactive art sessions and a variety of activities for all ages.

Florida Renaissance Festival
Weekends in February - March, 2026

Florida Renaissance FestivalThe Florida Renaissance Festival, held annually at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, features knights, jesters and artisans in a celebration of medieval culture. Attendees can watch jousting shows, browse handcrafted items such as blown glass and leather goods and enjoy traditional food with a tankard of ale or mead. With themed weekends and activities for all ages, the event offers a glimpse into the past.

Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival

St. Patrick's Day ParadeThe Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival is held each March in downtown Fort Lauderdale, featuring floats, bagpipers, marching bands, street performers and classic cars. The event also includes live music, games, cultural activities and traditional Irish food and drinks.

Tortuga Music Festival
