Get into the Halloween spirit with the spookiest delights across Greater Fort Lauderdale. From scary-good treats to frightfully fun sips, here’s everything to bookmark during the month of October.
Halloween is a year-round affair for Wicked Bread Co. in Plantation, which cranks out sinful, fresh-baked pastries, like the famous hot cinnamon bread, on the regular. October’s spooktacular menu will feature a different themed bread on rotation each week, with Guavaween, Bananstein, and We Berry the Bread all on the roster.
Tempting vibes linger at No Man’s Land, the best hidden strip mall gem of all in Victoria Park. The team is bringing back its Nightmare Before Christmas transformation, inspired by the amazingly weird world of Tim Burton. On Halloween, expect a custom cocktail menu, themed decor, and a fully decked seasonal experience throughout. This party doesn’t end on Halloween, though. In fact, it’s just getting started for its full holiday run.
Rosalia’s Kitchen in Miramar restaurant will be doused in evil October recipes from cloak-clad staff. Make room for The Crypt Keeper Salad, Witch’s Black Cauldron Pasta, and Phantom Pumpkin Ravioli, to pair with cocktails ranging from Ding Dong! The Witch is… Dead (a honeydew vodka slushy), Bite Me Like You Mean It (a blood-red strawberry mojito), The Devil’s Advocate (a jalapeno tequila pour), and more.
At both Fort Lauderdale and Plantation locations, Whiskey Neat’s Witching Hour is in full effect. Think femme fatale vibes laced with inspo from Elvira, The Queen of the Damned, The Craft, and Practical Magic. Order adult potions like the Hex Appeal, Spooky Ghoulie, or a Black Widow (or all three), and stay a while…
Tucked inside Hyatt Centric Las Olas, the 12-seat RM. 901 speakeasy is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Carrie, with a limited-edition prom-themed experience and plenty of nods to the cult-classic horror film. The night’s eeriest moments will inspire a specialty cocktail menu, like a prom punch with a sinister twist, and a few surprises best left until prom night.
Push the pantry door at Eatapas to enter the Hidden Speakeasy’s festive outfit starting October 8. Sip five spine-chilling cocktails throughout the month, complemented by live tunes — a late-night DJ might just grace the decks with hair-raising tunes.
Even MICHELIN-starred restaurants want in on the chilling action. MAASS Restaurant at The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is celebrating Halloween with a terrace MAASSQUERADE happy hour on October 31 starting at 7 p.m. with caviar bumps, bubbles, bites, beats, complete with a mysterious masquerade mood.
The one-night-only Haunted Havana Nights bash is taking over The Living Room at W Fort Lauderdale on October 31. The darker side of Havana brings Cuban tunes, music, sinister salsa dancers, hand-rolled cigars, and rum-fueled cocktails for all to savor. Dress for a night of electric energy in the tropical oceanfront atmosphere.
A world of wizardry is slated for Hogwharf Weekend at The Wharf, from October 9 to 11. Toast to a spellbinding evening in Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with cocktails inspired by the four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Strike a few poses, throw your moves on the dancefloor, and snag a free (with RSVP) house scarf for your official induction.
Ring in Hallow’s Eve at Fort Lauderdale Beach’s swankiest rooftop joint, Nubé at Beach House Fort Lauderdale, which is throwing a The Black Moon Ball with creepy celestial elements and specialty cocktails. Black Moon is a dark, seductive, fruit-forward mix with a silver glow, while Lunar Eclipse is a delicate, luminous, refreshing elixir with an ethereal moonlit shimmer.
Get lost in the gRAVEyard at Rooftop @ 1WLO where the beats are as dope as Halloween in the afterlife. Throw back a Rave to the Grave, with bright, tropical, and dangerously smooth notes and an eclectic neon glow, or the ‘Til Death We Dance, a tart, neon-pink strawberry lemon drop made to keep the party alive.
A candlelit gothic manor for Dracula’s Ball on October 30 and 31, The Wilder is bringing old-world vampires and dark glamour, plus a tingling sips like the gin and thyme-infused Immortal’s Cup, The mezcal and chocolate-forward Count’s Reserve, and the blood orange, and tequila-infused Blood Moon, among others.
It’s a Murder on the Dancefloor Halloweekend at Rhythm & Vine for One. Last. Dance. Disco nightlife meets slasher-inspired antics with bloody dancefloor antics for the ultimate costume party. Nurse a vodka-and-lychee Last Dance Martini, a spicy tequila outfit in the Saturday Night Fever, a gin and raspberry-kissed Disco Spritz, and more.
Whether you’re in it for the tricks or the treats, Halloween-themed offerings abound in Greater Fort Lauderdale, FL. Get your fill of edible and potable thrills all month long on a weird and wonderful tour of indulgences.
