CameraDr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park is a favorite destination for kayaking, canoeing and other boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking or just cloud watching. It is also area's most important turtle nesting beaches. The park features 310 acres between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, stretching from Port Everglades Inlet on the north to Dania on the south. With breathtaking "Shutter Spot" locations throughout the park, visitors can keep clicking as they follow the path around to the beach or the mangroves. Alligator in the Everglades Everglades

They can watch as the world's largest cruise ships, Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Sea and Allure of Sea, and others call at Port Everglades each week.
