Alexander Star adds an exciting layer of entertainment to the Visit Lauderdale float!
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (December 11, 2023) - South Florida based Emmy®-nominated songwriter, performer, and impact artist Alexander Star will perform Greater Fort Lauderdale’s new anthem titled “Laudy Dayo” during the Rose Parade® in Pasadena, California. Star will captivate audiences by performing live on Visit Lauderdale’s parade float on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 8:00 AM PST.
As the 135th Rose Parade® presented by Honda culminates on New Year’s Day, Visit Lauderdale, the official destination marketing organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale, will debut their inaugural float design which will showcase local attractions, historical figures, and wildlife elements. The Rose Parade® is known for grandeur and will serve as a prominent stage for Visit Lauderdale to showcase the unique tropical charm to a global audience.
The electrifying anthem is set to make waves and bring sunshine vibes to listeners. “Laudy Dayo” is a celebration of life and the laid-back vibrant culture of Greater Fort Lauderdale.
