Here are some ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve and the New Year in Greater Fort Lauderdale.
If you want to kick off 2023 at a restaurant, hotel, or nightclub party, you may need to reserve a spot in advance.
The Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Boulevard plans to host a New Year’s Eve celebration on its Skyline Terrace, which overlooks the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway, as well as million-dollar homes and the Atlantic Ocean. The party starts at 8 p.m., and ticket holders will enjoy an open bar and food, DJ entertainment, party favors, and more.
Over at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, celebrate with 10+ gourmet food stations. The event start at 8 p.m.
The party of the year - to end the year - returns to W Fort Lauderdale on New Year's Eve with the Glitter & Gold" NYE Spectacular celebration. This vivacious affair features a bold and energetic blend of live performances by Kerst Lehmann and DJ Amaris, casino games for you to try your luck and more. The spectacular soiree starts at 9:00 p.m. in the Living Room.
Dance right into 2023 at B Ocean's Disco Fever Party featuring a live DJ and a special mermaid show. Celebrants have the opportunity to tailor their New Year’s Eve experience through three different packages. The party will take place from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., and the DJ will perform from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The special mermaid show will take place at 11 p.m.
Blue Martini at the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale mall is ringing the New Year in style with live entertainment, plenty of bubbly, and, of course, martinis. Doors open at 7 p.m. Opt between general admission or a table package when making a reservation.
Spend a celebratory New Year’s Eve dinner oceanside at DUNE by Laurent Tourondel, helmed by globally renowned Chef Laurent Tourondel. “Ignite the Night” New Year’s Eve dining experience has two seating times. The first seating starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes a special a la carte menu. Second seating begins at 8:30 p.m. and includes a 5-course menu.
The family-friendly City of Fort Lauderdale | Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown provides an entire evening of free entertainment culminating with the illuminated Anchor Drop at midnight. The action gets underway at SW 2nd Street and SW 5th Avenue across from Museum of Discovery and Science and along the New River with family activities from 4:30 to 8:30, including a Kids Countdown at 7 p.m. Dance the night away to live music starting at 5:45 p.m. and lasting through the evening. The big Anchor Drop happens at midnight.
Dance under the stars at The Wharf along the New River starting at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve for the Captain’s Ball. The open-air venue’s celebration will include live music, fun cocktails, and a selection of food vendors. Although reservations are encouraged, walk-ups are welcome.
Other nightlife spots in Fort Lauderdale hosting New Year’s Eve parties with drinks and music include The Wilder, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, Rhythm & Vine, and Rooftop @1WLO, among others.
And if you want to ring in the New Year on the water (GFL-style), join Blue Moon Outdoor Adventures for a guided tour on your watercraft of choice: a stand-up paddleboard or a single or tandem kayak.
Delight in a lux nightclub New Year’s Eve experience at DAER and Rooftop Live, two nightlife spots found at The Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
For a disco-themed party, buy a ticket to the New Year’s Eve celebration at Déjà Blue restaurant in Parkland and enjoy interactive culinary stations, open bar, live entertainment, a themed photo booth, and more.
In Pompano Beach, enjoy a sit-down three-course meal at Oceanic before the party starts with live DJ music.
