And, in the event that you have too much nap-inducing turkey, you might just want to book your stay at the onsite hotel or a hotel nearby.

Burlock Coast Patio

Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale is offering a 3-course, family-style, Thanksgiving dinner with a side of stunning views of beach views. Feast on Prosciutto and Fig Tart, Watercress Salad and Roasted Pumpkin Soup with creme fraiche and spiced pumpkin seed, Turkey Breast Roulade and Confit Leg and Thigh, served with potato puree, kabocha squash stuffing, grilled broccolini, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and gravy. To finish, guests can indulge in Pumpkin Brulée with candied pistachio or Almond Sponge Cake with lingonberries.  $109 per adult and $49 per child (5-12 years of age). Lona Cocina Oceanfront Terrace

Celebrate Thanksgiving oceanside with a Mexican feast at  Lona Cocina & Tequileria at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Available Thursday, November 25 through Sunday, November 28, Lona’s specialty a la carte Thanksgiving menu with a Mexican twist, created by Chef Jorge Gutierrez, features Tamal de Calabaza – pumpkin, Masa de Maiz and banana leaf ($11); Machaca de Pavo Taco – pulled turkey, tomatillo, green apple sauce and cilantro ($15); Enchilada de Guajolote – braised turkey, cranberry mole, peanuts and crema fresca ($21); and the chef’s special Pavo Asado – roasted turkey, plantain puree and au jus ($25). Lona’s full dinner menu will also be available. The feast will be complemented by seasonal fall cocktails including Toasty Tostada – Nixta Licor, 400 Conejos Mezcal, Cointreau, mole bitters and orange; El Burro – Volcan Reposado tequila, lime juice, orange juice, Basil Monin, orange bitters, ginger beer and candied ginger; and Passion Picante – El Mayor Blanco, 400 Conejos Mezcal, Cointreau, lime juice, picante syrup and sliced peppers. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.

Shooters Waterfront

For an exciting twist on waterfront dining, board the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi and disembark at Stop #9. Shooters Waterfront's renowned dishes, drinks, and service are steps from the dock. This Fort Lauderdale staple is serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet that features carving stations complete with Herb-Infused Turkey, Honey Glazed Ham, and Prime Rib with au jus. There’s also a salad station, plenty of tasty sides like Mac and Cheese and Sweet Potato Casserole, and Spiced Pumpkin and Apple Pies for dessert. $65 per adult and $30 for children. Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Also accessible via Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi, Boathouse at the Riverside and Wild Sea Las Olas (also at the Riverside Hotel), Eddie V's and Salt7 are featuring mouthwatering specials perfect for celebrating turkey day. Hop off the Water Taxi at Stop #1 for these restaurants located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. After your delectable meal, stroll down Las Olas Boulevard or along the New River to work off all those calories and check out holiday lights.

NYY Steak Entrance

Gather and feast inside the Yankees-inspired NYY Steak restaurant inside the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Start off with curried squash bisque or autumn harvest salad. The specially crafted three-course menu features a seasonal Roasted Spiced Pumpkin Bisque topped off with toasted acorn, pumpkin crisp and cinnamon cream; an all-natural, free-range Tanglewood Farms Black Turkey Dinner served with cognac pan gravy, sage corn stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans and sweet potato mash; and a decadent sweet potato cake topped with cinnamon spiced caramel and brown butter frosting, prepared fresh by in-house Pastry Chef Devon Batson. $59 per person.
