Visit Lauderdale Wins Three Iconic Adrian Awards for Excellence in Destination Marketing
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (February 23, 2023) – Visit Lauderdale, the destination marketing organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale (Broward County) has been honored by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for creating some of the world’s best marketing campaigns within the tourism, travel and hospitality industries.
The Adrian Awards are widely regarded as one of the most prestigious awards in the travel industry, and winners are selected by an international panel of distinguished professionals based on their creativity, innovation, and effectiveness in marketing. Visit Lauderdale's success in winning multiple awards is a testament to its ongoing commitment to showcasing Greater Fort Lauderdale as a must-visit destination for travelers from around the world.
At the HSMAI awards ceremony held at the J.W. Marriott L.A., Visit Lauderdale won three collective awards, for their unique approach to destination marketing and communications, which included:
- AFAR Cruise Insert, Advertising Print Collateral
- Visit Lauderdale and Modern Luxury VIP Event
- Integrated Marketing Campaign, “Welcome”

Other awards included a Silver Flagler for a niche marketing campaign to the LGBT+ audience and a Bronze Flagler for a mixed media campaign.
