GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 7, 2024) - Travel professionals can discover special deals and not-to-be-missed attractions now that Visit Lauderdale, the official destination marketing organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale, launched its new VIP Passport for travel advisors.

Here’s how it works. Travel professionals who complete the brief online training session on Lauderdale Loyalist, Visit Lauderdale’s official interactive learning platform for travel advisors, will receive an access code via a mobile device and an email for immediate use. There is no app to download. The Lauderdale Loyalist Passport also may be saved on the mobile phone’s home screen for an easier way to access deals and special promotions. Upon arriving at a participating business, travel advisors present their coupon on their mobile device to the attendant or staff member to redeem available discounts.

“Travel advisors are one of our greatest allies and their influence is exponential,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO of Visit Lauderdale. “It makes perfect sense to offer them special savings which will allow them to explore Greater Fort Lauderdale while being able to curate personal experiences for their clients.”

The exclusive mobile pass features a collection of cruises on local waterways, museum visits, and outdoor adventures with ongoing new additions which travel advisors can redeem. Offers presented on The VIP Passport will be accessible during limited time frames and each experience can be redeemed only once during that period.
