Greater Fort Lauderdale's culinary scene is having a major moment. In fact, four of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s restaurants made the list of Yelp’s Top 100 Places To Eat in the U.S. Despite new concepts popping up around town, locals and visitors still enjoy visiting some tried-and-true favorites.
According to Yelp, which publishes crowdsourced reviews about businesses, the list covers a variety of places to eat and “really reflects the uniqueness of the Yelp community.”
According to the website, their data science team used data generated from its community submissions. From the candidate restaurants, Yelp narrowed down the list with help from its community managers and Trend Expert to curate a list as “quirky, interesting, and unique as the Yelp Community itself.”
All restaurants nominated needed to have a Yelp business page to qualify. Nominations opened to the Yelp community on October 16 and closed on October 29.
