A good Pride Month itinerary should leave room for both celebration and reflection. This June, Greater Fort Lauderdale delivers both, with events in Wilton Manors, creative workshops, waterfront festivities, and meaningful ways to honor LGBTQ+ history.

Whether you're planning a Pride weekend in Wilton Manors or looking for meaningful ways to take part throughout the month, this year's calendar brings together community celebrations and personal experiences.

Join the Celebration at Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride

Back to Top of List

For one of the biggest Pride Month gatherings in Greater Fort Lauderdale, head to Wilton Manors on Saturday, June 20, for the Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival. The annual event honors the historic Stonewall riots and the start of the LGBTQ+ rights movement while celebrating the freedom, love, and creativity that continue to define the community today.

Before the festival gets going, start the day with Pride Brunch at Tulio’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, located right on Wilton Drive. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., expect tacos, tequila, bottomless brunch, cocktails, and plenty of Pride Weekend energy before the fun spills into the street. Tulio's also offers dinner service from 4 p.m. to midnight, making it an easy stop for late-night bites after the parade.

From 3 to 11 p.m., the Street Festival keeps Wilton Drive buzzing with food, music, local vendors, outdoor entertainment, and bar and club parties throughout the area. With seven stages in the mix, there's plenty to see between snack stops, marketplace browsing, and parade-route scouting.

At 8 p.m., the Glow Night Parade lights up Wilton Drive with illuminated floats, vehicles, and walking groups. Expect a rush of color, music, and cheers as the parade moves through the street. The celebration is rooted in something deeper: the fight for equal rights, love in all its forms, and the queer creativity that has helped shape culture for generations.

FLoataramaFor a Pride event with sea breeze, skyline views, and a purpose-driven mission, set your sights on FLoatarama on Saturday, June 13. Now in its seventh year, the signature fundraiser is recognized as the nation's largest Pride-on-the-water celebration, bringing more than 500 guests aboard the Sun Dream Yacht Catalina for a 2.5-hour brunch cruise.

The day starts at 10 a.m. at Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill's Intracoastal dock with a pre-departure mimosa bar and a live performance from the South Florida Pride Jazz Band. At 11 a.m., the yacht sets sail with a premium open bar, brunch, entertainment, and music from DJ Trevor Oldroyd. When the boat returns, the party continues with a waterfront T-dance on Bokamper's patio.

All proceeds benefit the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund, which supports South Florida organizations providing services such as mental health support, housing assistance, health care access, and leadership development for LGBTQ+ youth.

Honor LGBTQ+ History During Pride Month

Back to Top of List

Pride Month is also a time to pause and connect with the stories behind the celebration. Open through June 30, the free photo exhibition “Take PRIDE! “Coming Out of the Shadows” at Galleria Fort Lauderdale explores LGBTQ+ life and activism in pre-Stonewall Fort Lauderdale during the 1960s.

Presented by History Fort Lauderdale, the exhibition features photographs and archival materials that tell the story of a period marked by political tension and growing LGBTQ+ activism. It also highlights this year's "Take PRIDE!" honorees, including leaders, artists, advocates, and community builders who have made an impact across South Florida.

For another meaningful way to engage with Pride history, the Third Annual Stonewall Uprising Reenactment revisits the 1969 uprising that helped fuel the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Through performance, music, and community participation, the event recognizes the courage that helped make today's Pride possible.
