Coral Springs knows how to host a hometown Fourth. Come to Mullins Park for the food vendors and live entertainment, stay because the kids have found the fun zone and have no plans of leaving. Patriotic contests add a little friendly flair before the sky gets lit up with fireworks at 8:45 p.m., weather permitting. Admission and parking are free, though parking is limited.

This one is for the beach chair people. Settle in near the shoreline, grab a bite from a food vendor, and let the music carry you toward sunset. The evening wraps with a drone and fireworks display over the water, so don’t rush home before the sky starts showing off.

4th of July Spectacular
July 4 from 12–9:15 p.m. | Free

Fort Lauderdale takes the Fourth and makes a beach day out of it. The celebration stretches from Las Olas Oceanside Park to Fort Lauderdale Beach, with live music, contests, family activities, and a kids zone full of inflatable water slides, face painting, beach games, and more. By 8:45 p.m., the sunscreen has worn off, the beach towels are sandy, and the fireworks take over.

July 4 from 5–10 p.m. | Free

On the Broadwalk, Independence Day comes with live entertainment, ocean air, and plenty of beach-town energy. Find your spot along A1A, settle in as the evening builds, and stay for the 9 p.m. offshore fireworks display.

Fourth of July Parade and Family Fun Day
July 4 starting at 10 a.m. | Free

For a classic seaside Fourth, start with the morning parade through Lauderdale-By-The-Sea from 10 to 11 a.m., then head to Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. After that, the day is yours: grab lunch, hit the sand, cruise around town on Circuit-By-The-Sea, then come back for fireworks at 9 p.m.

Independence Day Celebration
July 4 starting at 6 p.m. | Free

Pembroke Pines is going Colonial-themed for America’s 250th birthday at Pines Recreation Center. Guests can enjoy red, white, and blue rides, games, interactive arts and crafts, potato sack races, horseshoe toss, cornhole, and a 9 p.m. fireworks show. Admission is free, and coolers, pets, and personal fireworks aren’t permitted.

Independence Day Celebration
July 4 starting at 9 a.m. | Free

Plantation is for families who want to make a whole day of it. Start with the 9 a.m. parade, cool off at the Plantation Aquatic Complex from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., then head to Central Park after 6 p.m. for the kids zone, free concert, and 9 p.m. fireworks. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure Fourth, except every route ends with something sparkling in the sky.

Sunrise packs the holiday from morning to night, starting with the “Stars and Stripes: 250 Years of Smiles” Parade and Family Fun Day at City Park. Kids can cool off at the splash pad, climb through the fun zone, and grab snow cones before the celebration continues outdoors at Amerant Bank Arena with live music by Higher Ground, food vendors, fireworks, and a drone show.

Hometown Fireworks Celebration
July 3 from 6–9 p.m. | Free

Weston gets the party started a day early at Regional Park with interactive games, festive photo stations, food trucks, and live music by Frequency Band. This year’s theme, “Two Milestones, One Celebration: America 250 • Weston 30,” honors both the nation’s 250th birthday and Weston’s 30th anniversary before fireworks light up the sky at 9 p.m.

 

Fourth of July 5K Run/Walk
July 4 from 7–9 a.m. | Registration Required

Before the parade crowds fill Weston Town Center, runners and walkers can take on a festive 5K near the Bell Tower. Dress in your patriotic best, cross the finish line for a medal and race t-shirt, then cool off under the fan-favorite hook-and-ladder shower.

 

Hometown Fourth of July Celebration Parade
July 4 from 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m. | Free

After the 5K, the celebration keeps moving through Weston Town Center with one of the city’s favorite holiday traditions. This year’s parade marks “Two Milestones, One Celebration: America 250 • Weston 30,” with patriotic performers, local groups, and decked-out floats winding from Town Center Boulevard and Three Village Road toward Main Street.
