Who can’t resist a pumpkin spice latte? This season, elevate your coffee experience by savoring the offerings from some of the area's top coffee shops. Wells Coffee, with convenient locations in downtown Fort Lauderdale and the Tarpon River Entertainment & Design District (TREDD), always surprises and delights this time of year. Among its specialties is a pumpkin lover’s dream: an iced pumpkin pie latte with housemade pumpkin cold cream. 

Java & Jam on Las Olas Boulevard is a favorite for breakfast lovers and caffeine seekers alike. Stop by to try the fall features menu, which offers inventive creations like the maple butter pecan cold brew with spiced maple cold foam. You can even make it dirty with Bulleit Bourbon! There are plenty more seasonal shakes and cocktails to try, making this a go-to spot no matter the time of day. 

Circle House

Circle House Coffee rose to fame in Flagler Village as the altruistic coffee shop owned by retired NFL linebacker Stephen Tulloch. This season, the coffee shop features a delicious lineup of indulgent, refreshing, and Nitro-charged drinks to warm up or unwind with. Think pecan and pumpkin pie lattes, a toasted marshmallow cold brew, and a honey bee latte, plus bourbon vanilla and salted caramel doughnuts.

Beer and Libations 

If you prefer to savor the flavors of autumn through seasonal spirits, you'll find an abundance of options nearby. Start with Tarpon River Brewery and enjoy brews like the Meet Morning Express, a rich, creamy coffee stout that’s dangerously easy to sip. It’s just what you need for a midweek pick-me-up.

Funky Buddha

Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park features inventive pours such as Sweet Potato Casserole and the new Butta Cup—a peanut butter cup double brown ale.

For the ultimate brewery experience, head to Yard House at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach to celebrate Oktoberfest through October 26. Order a stein to enjoy the New Belgium seasonal and pair it with tasty seasonal foods, such as the Bavarian pork chop and bier brat sliders.

Burlock Coast

There’s also a ton of fall cocktails to enjoy with friends and family. Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits on Fort Lauderdale beach offers a Maple Manhattan made with Maker’s Mark, Cinzano 1757, Dolin Rouge Maple Syrup, orange, and Angostura bitters and the Autumn Harvest Spritz—a combo of Bunratty Irish Whiskey, Rattlesnake Rosie’s Pumpkin Spice Fever Tree ginger ale, and prosecco. 

American Social

Las Olas Boulevard is home to American Social, which is serving childhood favorites with a seasonal twist. Preserving Traditions blends Maker’s Mark Bourbon, peanut butter whiskey, and strawberry preserves, topped with a mini peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Casa Sensi

Casa Sensei shakes up fall in Fort Lauderdale with its Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Martini, a rich mix of vodka, white chocolate pumpkin liquor, and pumpkin spice topped with whipped cream. This limited-edition cocktail is best enjoyed while taking in the restaurant’s riverfront views.  

Down the street, raise a glass to the season at the modern Italian restaurant Timpano Las Olas with the Harvest Old Fashioned. This elevated cocktail blends Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon with apple bitters, cardamom, and a Luxardo cherry for a cozy, seasonal twist on the classic.

Herald autumn with Intracoastal views at the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Olive & Sea. Toast to fall with the Honey Pumpkin Whiskey Smash alongside the Belle Poire—a refined mix of Hennessy VS Cognac, pear, and lemon.

Miami favorite Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop is bringing autumn flavors to Broward. Indulge in a monster slice of pumpkin pie or pumpkin cheesecake. There’s even a cozy Campfire S’mores cake jar—the perfect ending to a date night. 

Over at Blueprint Cookies (locations in Flagler Village and Plantation), there is no shortage of cookie heaven. The famous cookie shop’s monthly specials include Chip & Twix, Cookie Butter Cheesecake, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Dirt Cup, and a vegan, gluten-free Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tart alongside the shop’s usual weekly favorites. 

Don’t miss Fort Lauderdale’s famous layered doughnuts at Parlor, where fall flavors take center stage. Seasonal standouts include pumpkin chai cheesecake, caramel apple, and apple pie–filled doughnuts. Pair your treat with one of four festive sips, like a pumpkin cold foam or a salted butterscotch latte, served hot or iced.

Ocean Prime

Ocean Prime, the sleek new two-story restaurant on the Intracoastal with sprawling outdoor terraces, is sweetening the season with a warm pumpkin butter cake. It’s the perfect last bite to cap off a stunning waterfront dinner.

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill is serving up seasonal sweetness with its apple fritter churros, available now through November 30 at all locations. Enjoy bite-sized churros dusted with warm baking spices, sugar, and caramel apple syrup, paired with a decadent dulce de leche dipping sauce.
