In Greater Fort Lauderdale, Pride isn’t just a moment — it’s a mood. It’s the beat of music pulsing through the streets of Wilton Manors, the scent of fresh-baked croissants wafting from an LGBT+-owned café, the shimmer of sequins at a beachside pool party, and the warm welcome that greets everyone under the sun.

From parades and parties to peaceful moments of reflection and connection, Pride Month here is a multisensory celebration of love, identity and community. Whether you’re a local, a first-timer or a seasoned Pride traveler, you’ll find something that speaks to your spirit.

Savor the Flavors of Pride

Archibalds Village Bakery

You can practically taste the love in every bite at Archibalds Village Bakery, where delicate scones, buttery croissants, and gooey cinnamon rolls fly off the shelves. It’s no wonder this LGBT+-owned gem in Fort Lauderdale beach landed the #3 spot on Yelp’s Top Places to Eat in the U.S.

Bulegreen Cafe YardFor something a little more tucked away, head to Bulegreen Café Yard in Oakland Park. With lush greenery, cozy nooks, and delicious fare, this LGBT+-owned brunch spot (also celebrated by Yelp) is a vibe. Order a signature bule and unwind, as birds chirp overhead and sunlight filters through the trees.

Wilton CreameryCraving something sweet? Wilton Creamery in Wilton Manors delivers bold, creamy flavors, decadent combos, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals and visitors coming back.

March, Float, Dance, Repeat

Pride Month in Greater Fort Lauderdale is stacked with celebrations, from parades and pool parties to yacht cruises and bar crawls, keeping the energy high all month long.

Rebel Wine

On Thursday, June 6, head to Rebel Wine Bar in Oakland Park for the Love Is Love: Stonewall Pride Pre-Game Open Bar & Disco. With curated wine, beer, and DJ Natalie Smallish spinning vinyl classics, it’s the perfect warmup before the big weekend ahead.

On Saturday, June 14, Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride transforms Wilton Drive into a massive Block Party Festival with seven stages of music, drag, and non-stop entertainment. After dark, the Glow Night Parade lights up the streets with illuminated floats, walking groups, and a whole lot of love.

If your idea of Pride includes sunshine and a refreshing swim, swing by the Vagabundos Mega Pool Party on Sunday, June 15. Expect handcrafted cocktails, a fun-loving crowd, and the kind of poolside atmosphere only Fort Lauderdale can deliver.

FLoatarama

Next up, Pride hits the high seas at the 6th annual FLoatarama on Saturday, June 21. Known as the largest LGBT+ Pride-on-Water event in the country, you can expect delicious dockside mimosas and a brunch cruise aboard the Yacht Catalina, followed by an afternoon T-Dance on the waterfront.

Also on June 21, the Pride Bar Crawl brings drag, drinks, and dancing to bars across Wilton Manors. It’s a high-energy way to connect with the community and celebrate while supporting LGBTQ+ nonprofits.

If you need a midweek reset, check out Mermaids & Mermen: A Splash of Pride every Wednesday in June at The Wreck Bar inside B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach. This underwater burlesque show features rotating weekly themes, DJ sets, and sea-sational performances.

And just when you think Pride’s winding down, FlockFest swoops in to keep the celebration going. From July 11–13, Fort Lauderdale Beach will see hundreds of inflatable flamingos (and their fabulous human companions) floating, frolicking, and striking a pose in one of the most playful, Instagram-friendly events of the summer.

Celebrate the Whole Self

Pride here is more than just a party. On Friday, June 7, the Healthy & Proud Health Fair in Wilton Manors will offer free health screenings, wellness resources, and affirming support in a welcoming community space.

Families are invited to join the fun too. On Saturday, June 28, the Annual Family Pride Celebration at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale features kid-friendly entertainment, hands-on experiments, and a celebration of Pride for all ages.

Craving a cultural moment? Take a trip back to the ’90s with a curated lineup of films during FLIFF’s Pride Month Screening Series, happening June 5–8. From the rise of LGBTQ+ representation on screen to the real-world shifts in policy, awareness, and advocacy, this series reflects on a pivotal decade with films that are nostalgic, thought-provoking, and entertaining for the entire South Florida community.

Then, on Saturday, June 21, the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida takes the stage at The Parker with Dazzling Divas, a concert celebrating the legendary women who’ve stood by the LGBTQ+ community. Expect powerhouse vocals, surprise moments, and a setlist packed with anthems.
