Expect large-scale projection mapping, interactive light sculptures, sound-driven works, live performances, and family-friendly experiences that turn everyday public spaces into something worth exploring. And the best part? Admission is free, making it easy to stop by, wander around, and make a night or afternoon of it.

Where to Go

Back to Top of List

This year, IGNITE Broward shines bright across four distinct locations, each offering its own atmosphere and way to experience art through light, sound, and technology.

An inside view of the entrance of Mad ArtsIn Dania Beach, festival-goers can start their journey at MAD Arts, an art and technology museum that immerses audiences in both high- and low-tech experiences. During the festival, MAD Arts will showcase more than 13 new works alongside artist-led events and workshops, featuring immersive projections, sound-based installations, interactive media, and debut presentations from emerging local artists. Open daily from noon to 10 p.m., it’s an easy first stop before continuing on to other festival locations.

In Fort Lauderdale, Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park offers a wide-open setting for exploration, with six installations spread across the park’s lake fountain, courts, and surrounding grounds. The park also sets the tone for the festival with the official IGNITE Broward kickoff on Friday, February 13, including a live performance by breakdance crew BREAKINMIA.

An aerial view of Arts Park at Young CircleIn Downtown Hollywood, seven installations transform ArtsPark at Young Circle into a shared creative space, featuring responsive environments, illuminated seating, projection-based works, and interactive experiences that invite visitors to slow down, move through the space, and spend time together.

Rounding out the experience, IGNITE Broward expands into a new and unexpected setting at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Beginning in late January and continuing through February 22, interactive installations will greet arriving and departing travelers, offering a creative gateway into Broward County’s art and technology scene.
